My Favorite Hobby
As a mother to two small children, I often times do not have much time to focus on myself. I am not always able to find time to enjoy all of the hobbies that I like to do. Most of the hobbies I enjoy revolve around my family. One of my very favorite hobbies is to craft. I love to make hair bows and other accessories for my little girl. I have completed several projects that involve making crafts to improve the look of my home. I have made several items for each of my kids' rooms to make them more personalized. My most recent crafting adventure included making fabric covered picture frames. I made 5 picture frames that match the pillows on my living room couches. One of my very favorite websites is Pinterest. It is full of craft ideas. It also makes it easy to find, collect, organize, and share future projects that I would like to complete. Sadly, I will have even less time to enjoy crafting because of the classes I chose to take this semester.

Is pinterest really that good my wife is always trying to find things to do with our daughter?
ReplyDeleteI love using Pintrest to find craft ideas. It has a feature where you can create different "boards" to organize the different ideas you find. The search engine allows you to find many different ideas in just a few minutes. I do wish they had a feature where you could make your Pintrest private. As of now, it is open for anyone to be able to access.

ReplyDeleteThanks! I was addicted to Pinterest before the semester started. Now my extra time goes to completing my online classes, mainly Chemistry.

DeleteI also love crafting! It is one of the most relaxing things I can do. I also have 2 kids and a husband and am a senior at Lamar. Glad to know we have so much in common :)
